On July 19, 2007 City Council delegated authority to the Chief Corporate Officer be authorized to declare land surplus and approve the intended manner of disposition.
On May 12, 2010 (PDF, 49 KB) City Council delegated the approving and signing authorities in various real estate matters up to $10 million to senior Staff positions, where funding is available in an approved budget.
The North St. Lawrence Market Building is being redeveloped to improve the utility of the St. Lawrence Market Complex for the community, vendors, visitors and shoppers, while contributing to the economic development of the area.
