It's Time to #TransformTO

TransformTO is Toronto's new plan to fight climate change, improve our health, grow our economy, and improve social equity. In July 2017 City Council unanimously approved a set of long-term, low-carbon goals, and strategies to reach them. Learn more about the strategy on the project website. Everyone has a part to play in #TransformTO so we can reach our climate action goals!

by 2030:

  • All new buildings will be built to produce near zero GHG emissions

by 2050:

  • 100% of existing buildings will have been retrofitted to improve energy performance by 40%
  • 75% of energy will be renewable or low-carbon
