Community Gardens

Community gardens are located in public parks or private lands where neighbours grow and care for vegetables, flowers and native plant species.

• Rental fees for each garden plot are $76.83 tax included

Community Kitchens

In community kitchens people cook together and then eat the prepared meal. Some meals are low cost (ranging from $3 - $7) and others are free. Some kitchens may also require registration. It is best to contact the organization directly to confirm details. Most programs are open to adults as well as seniors. If you are unable to find a community kitchen in the list call the Community Information Line at 416-392- 6655 for a location near you.
