The City of Toronto, TTC and Metrolinx are working closely together on coordinated transit planning in Toronto. Six major transit studies are interrelated:
Network analysis by Metrolinx
• GO Regional Express Rail (RER)
• Yonge Relief Network Study
Network analysis by the City of Toronto and TTC
• SmartTrack Eglinton Corridor Feasibility Study
• Scarborough Subway Extension
• Relief Line
These projects have a significant impact on the overall transit network: They will improve the network by creating connections between future projects and existing lines, and represent a coordination or regional and local priorities.
