Last Minute Online Booking System

You can now search, book a permit and pay for last minute facility bookings online

Please note: Ice & Sport facilities allow you to book last-minute as far in advance as 14 days and as late as 3 days prior to your event date.

Tennis can be booked at select sites - current day and as far in advance as 14 days.

  • Last minute bookings may receive a discounted rate.
  • This type of booking is non-refundable.
  • Bookings cannot be resold, exchanged or sublet.
  • Prior to booking Last Minute facilities online, a client MUST review and agree to the rules and regulations. Note there are specific rules for each type of facility.
  • Initially, affiliated organizations requesting extra time will need to speak with a Customer Service representative (to provide proof of insurance coverage for coaches in advance of booking and to receive the login account identification numbers).
  • Non-affiliated groups (private individuals and groups) will require insurance. Fees will automatically include a minimum $2 million liability insurance coverage.
  • For profit organizations will not be permitted through our online booking system. (Only exception - Commercial tennis) * Please speak with a customer service representative for further information.

Ice Rental Online Booking Rules

  • Last Minute Ice is booked in one hour increments. All one hour increments include 50 minutes of permit time and 10 minutes for the maintenance of the ice.
  • Last minute online ice bookings cannot be used to replace regular seasonal bookings.
  • Non-Affiliated groups (private individuals and groups) will require insurance. Fees will automatically include a minimum $2 million liability insurance coverage.
  • Initially, Affiliated Organization's will need to speak with a Customer Service representative to provide proof of insurance coverage and additional details in advance of booking.
  • Dressing rooms can be accessed up to 30 minutes before and must be vacated no later than 30 minutes following your permitted time.
  • Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult supervisor at all times.
  • No one is allowed on the ice surface during operation of the ice surfacing machine.
  • Toronto Parks, Forestry & Recreation highly recommends the use of CSA approved helmets for all players/skaters while on the ice. For bookings by private individuals or companies such as birthday parties and special events, all participants regardless of age, while playing or supervising hockey in an arena or rink are required to wear CSA approved hockey helmets while on the ice. For organizations, school boards, and private rentals, all players, students and children are required to be under supervision at all times
  • The City of Toronto reserves the right to cancel Last Minute Sport Facility bookings when it is considered to be used for profit or gain or is being abused to replace or in the place of regular ice bookings.
  • The City of Toronto has a Zero Tolerance Alcohol Policy. Any unauthorized use will result in the immediate cancellation of this permit.

**Scarborough Arenas require clients to bring their own locks.

Sport Facilities Online Booking Rules

  • Sport Facilities are booked in two hour (minimum) increments.
  • Last minute online sport field bookings cannot be used to replace regular seasonal bookings.
  • Non-Affiliated groups (private individuals and groups) will require insurance. Fees will automatically include a minimum $2 million liability insurance coverage.
  • Initially, Affiliated Organization's will need to speak with a Customer Service representative to provide proof of insurance coverage and additional details in advance of booking.

Tennis Facilities Online Booking Rules

  • Tennis Court(s) are booked in one hour (minimum) increments.
  • Online tennis court bookings cannot be used to replace regular seasonal bookings.
  • Online Bookings are non-refundable.
  • Last minute booking is only available at select facilities.
  • Tennis courts can be booked as soon as the same day and as far in advance as 14 days.
  • Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult supervisor at all times.
  • Permits are only good for the designated online booking court. Other court(s) must remain open to the public.

There are two types of bookings:

  • Match Play: for individuals or small groups looking to book a tennis court and are not for profit/gain. Examples: Singles or Doubles matches, or a birthday party.
    • Match Play does not require insurance coverage
    • Match Play can be booked through the Guest Sign-In
    • For groups of less than 10 people
  • Affiliated Organizations: for Private Businesses and/or Organizations looking to run a service that will produce profit or gain.
    • Affiliated Organizations are required to produce their own proof of insurance coverage in advance of booking.($2 million liability insurance coverage is required)
    • Affiliated Organizations must book through Organization Account log in and this account must be created before your first online booking. Contact customer service to begin this one-time account set-up.

The City of Toronto has a Zero Tolerance Alcohol Policy. Any unauthorized use will result in the immediate cancellation of this permit.

General Rules and Regulations

Your personal information is collected under the legal authority of City of Toronto Act, S.O. 2006, Chapter 11, Schedule A, s. 8, 74 &136, the City of Toronto Municipal Code, Chapter 441, Fees and Charges and Chapter 608, Parks. Your information will be used to process your application for issuance of permits; collection and payment of fees; aggregate statistical reporting, contacting clients regarding upcoming programs, and, additional mailings, including newsletters/surveys and email notifications and receipt transactions.
