St. Lawrence Neighbourhood Focused Area Official Plan Amendment

On August 25, 2014, City Council directed the City Planning Division to initiate an Official Plan Amendment for the St. Lawrence Neighbourhood Focused Area with respect to building height and built form, as well as community benefits under Section 37 of the Planning Act.

The study area is generally bordered by Yonge Street, King Street East, Jarvis Street and the railway corridor. City Planning staff are currently undertaking a review of the study area to better articulate the preferred built form direction as identified in the existing Official Plan policies and the St. Lawrence Neighbourhood Focused Area Urban Design Guidelines.
