In partnership with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), celebration events will be hosted at Toronto’s two major rivers with national designations: the Rouge and the Humber rivers. Come and experience the natural beauty of these ancient watersheds, and learn about their human history stretching back thousands of years. Both events will offer the public a unique opportunity to paddle the rivers in a canoe, for free. Come to be inspired by the past and appreciate the natural wonders of Toronto’s nationally significant rivers.
