The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) has regulations to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. The AODA has accessibility standards in five key areas of daily life that are being phased in over time: customer service, employment, information and communications, transportation and the design of public spaces. These laws apply to most organizations with one or more employees in Ontario.
Your requirements will vary depending on the size of your organization. You may also have to file a regular accessibility compliance report.
