Basement Flooding Protection Program

The City has launched a multi-year Basement Flooding Protection Program to implement the solutions and help prevent basement and surface flooding. Construction commenced in a number of neighbourhoods across the City since 2009.

College Street Construction

The City of Toronto will be working near College Street this summer between Lansdowne Avenue and Bathurst Street. Work is expected to begin in summer 2016.

Downtown Construction Projects

Hogg's Hollow

The City is reconstructing several local roads in Hogg's Hollow to address problems related to stormwater management.

The City of Toronto is planning to reconstruct Old Colony Road to address the poor road conditions and drainage problems.

Kennedy and Claremore Avenue Watermain

NEW 1050 mm diameter watermain to support existing watermain from Scarborough Pumping Station (the Lake) along Kennedy Road area to Midland and St Clair Avenue

Rosehill Reservoir Rehabilitation

The City of Toronto will be carrying out waterproofing and structure rehabilitation work on the Rosehill Reservoir at David Balfour Park.

Six Points Interchange Reconfiguration

The Six Points Interchange, at Bloor Street West, Dundas Street West and Kipling Avenue, will be reconfigured to support the development of Etobicoke Centre as a vital mixed-use community, and the urban focus of the west part of Toronto.
