Doors Open Toronto 2015

This dataset lists all properties participating in Doors Open Toronto on May 23 & 24, 2015.

All details are submitted and approved by the properties. The City is not responsible for the accuracy of the self-identified data provided by the properties.

Doors Open Toronto is an annual one weekend event offering free access to more than 150 significant Toronto buildings (many of which are not normally open to the public).  The Doors Open roster often includes heritage landmarks, modern structures, hidden gems, places of worship, halls of learning, boardrooms, bedrooms, breweries, lighthouses, mansions, museums, theatres, national historic sites, centres of rail travel, cemeteries, factories, banking halls, architects' offices and more.

In honour of this summer's Toronto 2015 Pan American/Parapan American Games, the 2015 theme – Sports, Recreation and Leisure – features private and public recreational sites ranging from aquatic centres to athletics stadiums.

Comment:

The quality of the data has been reviewed. Although City staff make best efforts to review the accuracy of the data, we must rely on the properties themselves to provide accurate data. The data is considered accurate as of the date the JSON file is posted. Although it is not encouraged, it is possible for properties to change their data or remove themselves from the event right up to the event weekend.

This data will not be maintained after the Doors Open event on May 23 and 24 2015.
