Bicycle Friendly Business Awards

Five Bicycle Friendly Business Awards to be presented at the Toronto Bike Awards, Nov. 13, 2014

Five City of Toronto Bicycle Friendly Business Awards will be presented as part of The Toronto Bike Awards ceremony, a night to honour the people and organizations that show leadership in encouraging cycling at the workplace. Businesses are selected based on several criteria such as: secure/monitored bicycle parking facilities, the percentage of employees that cycle, corporate use of bicycle services, and creative approaches to promote cycling for employees and customers. Awards are judged by a panel of cycling experts. Awards will recognize the top 5 bicycle friendly businesses with special emphasis placed on the most bicycle friendly business. New this year, businesses will have the opportunity to win prizes that reward cycling at the workplace.
