An illuminated, 3D TORONTO Sign was installed at Nathan Phillips Square in July 2015 for the TORONTO 2015 Pan American/Parapan American Games. Due to popular demand, the Sign still remains on the Square.
Visitors to City Hall are encouraged to share pictures of the 3D TORONTO Sign across their social networks, using the hashtag #share3DTO.
A draft policy on commemorative lighting for the 3D TORONTO Sign has been developed and will be presented to Toronto City Council early in 2016.
