Elections - Official By-Election Results for 2010 to 2014 Term

The by-election results are used to identify the candidates running, the number of votes each candidate received, to identify which candidate received the most votes, analysis and for statistical purposes. The City Clerk is responsible for declaring the official by-election results.
The data set contains the:

  • name of the elected position in which candidates are running
  • names of all candidates running in a City of Toronto municipal by-election by subdivision and ward number
  • official voting results by ward and subdivision.

Comment

This dataset captures and records the results by ward of all official by-elections results held during the 2010 – 2014 term for candidates running for office, such as City councillors and school board trustees.
