"This image really captured the way so many of us Torontonians see our home town. Vibrant, and full of colour. It’s a city where winter doesn’t keep us indoors. This image features a beautiful colour palette. The super wide angle shot allows us to view everything from City hall to the new construction to the south. The composition is very nicely balanced. There were many submissions that featured this iconic vista, but this one nailed it in an artistic and engaging way" - Ed Robertson

"I love the colours and textures in this image. I think the panoramic composition works well putting more focus on the ice. The light is beautiful on the buildings as well." - Michelle Valberg

"As a commercial photographer, this is one of my favourite images of the competition. Excellent use of vivid colour, perspective, composition, lighting and sharp crisp details make this a winning image." - Kristian Bogner
