Facilities Management

Facilities Management provides comprehensive maintenance, custodial and repair services to ensure properties within the portfolio are maintained in a safe, clean and functional state to best serve the staff and residents of the city of Toronto. The division's total facility portfolio is approximately 436 buildings covering 11.5 million square feet and we ensure all relevant compliance standards and by-laws are met.

This process includes a Capital Plan based on Building Condition Assessments, Energy Audits, Accessibility Audits and stakeholder input, Contract Management, Environmental Support, and Administration to ensure the division's buildings are kept in good repair on an ongoing basis.
