While the exhibit space in the atrium will remain, our theatre will be transformed into a classroom/meeting space, featuring state-of-the-art AV and presentation systems, with capacity for 60 people.

This new room will better serve the needs of our educators and the hundreds of students who visit us for programming each year. When not being used by students, the new space will be available for public meetings, lectures and receptions.

Following the theatre renovation, work will commence on upgrading the atrium. New lighting, carpeting, furnishings, and a fresh coat of paint, will serve to enliven this dramatic space. A dedicated Community Wall will also be added, providing a showcase and display area for local groups, which can be enjoyed by the thousands of visitors to our building.

Finally, the entrance to the building will be enhanced into a more welcoming space with modifications to the greeting area and security desk.
