Doors Open Toronto

Doors Open Walking Tours

sponsored by The Carpenters' Union - Carpenters and Allied Workers Local 27 and Drywall and Acoustic Lathing Local 675

An exciting program of free walking tours is available during Doors Open Toronto weekend. Tours will delve deep into the stories, histories and architecture of a variety of neighbourhoods.

In support of this year's theme, Re-used, Re-visited and Revised, many tours highlight the unique histories and adaptive re-use of featured Toronto neighbourhoods. Tour guides will also share short stories about the generations of tradespeople who have been instrumental in building Toronto for over a century, showcasing the legacy of the Carpenters' Union in the city.

Participants must register to take part in each walking tour as space is limited. A confirmation email will be sent to participants 72 hours prior to the Doors Open Toronto weekend.

Registration opens on May 3, with more space becoming available on May 19!
