Commercial Activities in Parks

Looking to use a City park to run a fitness program or other commercial activity? If you are an individual, group, or organization and you would like to charge fees to clients to conduct organized recreation activities or services on city owned and/or managed parkland, you will need to apply for a permit.

Commercial Special Events

Select parks have been pre-approved for a commercial special event pilot to run from May through October 2016. These select Park locations will only allow up to 6 events per year at any one location.

Commercial Dog Walkers

Dog Walkers

Permits are available for individuals to walk 4 to 6 dogs on a commercial basis. A photo of the commercial dog walker will be taken at the time of permit purchase and recorded on the client's account.

The City of Toronto has many beautiful sites for photography, including indoor conservatories and outdoor gardens. Enjoy what the City of Toronto has to offer. Groups or individuals who want to take photos in a park will require a permit

Cardio Boot Camps are increasingly a more popular way to enjoy your local park and participate in a fitness program. These programs are privately run fitness activities which take place in parks across Toronto. If you are an individual, group, or organization and you would like to charge fees to clients for your private fitness program in a park you will require a park permit.
