Skateboarding in Toronto

Skateboarding can be a fun recreational activity, a creative outlet, and a way to get around. The City of Toronto has 14 outdoor skateparks (12 permanent and 2 seasonal) of varying styles and sizes that provide safe and friendly environments for all users to enjoy. Seasonal indoor skateboarding opportunities are also available. Explore the City's skateparks using this map.

Ashbridges Bay skatepark is Toronto’s largest skatepark. It is a plaza style street skatepark, with ledges, banks, stairs, rails, hubbas, gaps, and granite-capped ledges. The skatepark also has an 11’ deep kidney bowl with pool coping and a stair channel.

Dufferin Grove Skatepark (Beginner to intermediate)

Small community skatepark on smooth concrete ground featuring wooden elements that are redesigned and rebuilt annually by local skateboarders. The layout changes every year, but usually includes several ledges, manual pads, kickers and a quarterpipe.

Seasonal, open spring to fall, dusk until dawn.


Dunbat Skatepark (Beginner to intermediate)

Community skatepark on smooth concrete featuring wooden elements that are redesigned and rebuilt annually by local skateboarders. The layout changes every year, but usually includes several ledges, manual pads, banks and a 5' mini ramp.

Seasonal, open spring to fall, with lights on until 11pm.


East York Skatepark (Beginner to intermediate)

Concrete community skatepark, designed with input from the local East York youth group. Includes a street plaza style area and a tight 5’ figure-eight bowl. The street area consists of a ‘Pier 7’ manual pad, multiple stair-sets, several larger stairs, rails, ledges, hubbas, a long ‘Wave’ banked ledge and two granite-capped ledges.

Concrete community skatepark with a mix of flow and street, with a tight 5’ peanut-shaped bowl. This skatepark includes various-sized quarter pipes, banks, stairs, rails, ledges, manual pads and granite-capped hubbas.

Concrete community skatepark with a mix of street and transition features. A central flow area is surrounded by an outer ring filled with quarter pipes, ledges, banks, stairs, rails, hubbas and manual pads.

Also known as Crossroads Skatepark, this is a concrete community skatepark with a variety of banks, ledges, rails, hubbas, manual pads, a funbox and small ¾ bowl.

Underpass Skatepark (Beginner to intermediate)

Under Eastern Avenue overpass, located under the bridge south of King St. E., access off St. Lawrence St.

Modular community skatepark located beneath an overpass, which provides a sanctuary from the elements. Includes various pre-fabricated ledges and manual pads, rails and some small banks, set on a concrete pad.


Vanderhoof Skatepark (All skill levels)

Vanderhoof skatepark has a large U-shaped bowl, with a long 5' shallow-end mini-ramp curving into a 9' deep-end bowl, with several extensions, pool coping in the deep-end and a challenging over-vert cradle. The skatepark also includes a basic street area with a bank, long ledge and manual pad, and a small kicker to stairs and hubba.

Weston Lions is a modular community skatepark featuring various ledges, rails, banks, quarter pipes and a spine-ramp on an asphalt slab.

Open fall, winter and spring for youth 13-24 years old, Wednesday 3pm to 6pm and Saturdays 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Seasonal, drop-in skateboarding set up on a drained ice rink with wooden and prefabricated ramps, rails & ledges.

Open summer on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. - There is an active youth advisory council at this skatepark. This council played a key role in initiating this skateboarding opportunity.

Skateboarding Programs
