The Business Services office within Parks, Forestry and Recreation provides a leadership role in the promotion and fulfilment of business opportunities within the City of Toronto's extensive park portfolio. Business Services partners with a range of client groups and business entities in an effort to maximize and enhance the park experience for our visitors. Past projects include a wide variety of food and beverage concession opportunities, temporary park access agreements for festivals as well as more traditional real estate specific agreements such as those pertaining to easements and facility leasing.

Toronto Island Dock Access License Agreements

Toronto Island Dock Access Licenses are now available for the 2017 season. Water Taxi owner/operators will require a valid Toronto Islands Dock Access License if they want to dock at any one of the seven authorized docking sites within the Toronto Islands Parks System. *New for 2017* – each water taxi vessel will be required to be independently numbered and licensed for Toronto Island Docking privileges. RFP2017-01 - Toronto Island Bike Rental

The City of Toronto Parks, Forestry & Recreation Division is pleased to issue a Request for Proposal No. RFP2017-01 for the Bicycle Rental Concession currently located at Toronto Island Park. Proponents interested in obtaining the rights to operate a bicycle rental concession at Toronto Island Park should download the RFP document (PDF), follow the instructions contained within the RFP document, and submit a proposal to the City by the deadline of March 15, 2017 at 12 noon (local time).

RFP2017-03 – Ashbridges Bay Park Bike Rental

The City of Toronto Parks, Forestry & Recreation Division is pleased to issue Request for Proposal No. RFP2017-03 for a new Bicycle Rental Concession to be located near the entrance way to Ashbridges Bay Park. Proponents interested in obtaining the rights to operate a bicycle rental concession serving the Eastern Beaches Park system and the Martin-Goodman Trail should download the RFP document (PDF). Follow the instructions contained within the RFP document, and submit a proposal to the City by the deadline of April 7, 2017 at 12 noon (local time).

RFP2017-04 - Eastern Beaches Parks Vending/Service Opportunities

The City of Toronto Parks, Forestry & Recreation Division is pleased to issue Request for Proposal No. RFP2017-04 for Vending and Service based concessions within the Eastern Beaches Parks system. Proponents interested in obtaining the rights to operate a seasonal business opportunity within the Eastern Beaches Park system should download the RFP document (PDF). Requests for Expression of Interest (REOI's)

REOI 2017-01 – Operation of the Golf Courses Currently Owned and Operated by the City of Toronto

The City of Toronto Parks, Forestry & Recreation Division (PFR) is pleased to issue a Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) No. 2017-01 for the "Operation of the Golf Courses Currently Owned and Operated by the City of Toronto". The City invites Respondents to provide information and options to determine potential interest by third-parties if PFR was to explore a different operating model for the current portfolio of City owned and operated golf courses.
