Sports Fields Status

Outdoor sports fields, diamonds and stadiums status

Please Note: The City of Toronto outdoor baseball and softball diamonds, sports fields and stadiums are open for the season, weather permitting.

Important: Heavy rain and flooding on sports fields and diamonds may result in field closures and permit cancellations. Please check the sport fields status alerts for any closures.

All permits for Toronto Island Park have been cancelled until July 31 due to the impact of rising lake levels and flooding.

From May 1, 2017, you can check Fields Status Alerts to see all closures and service alerts affecting major City-run baseball/softball diamonds and sport fields.

Parks, Forestry & Recreation's outdoor sports field & diamond status page will be updated by City of Toronto staff Monday - Sunday!

Please note: Individuals and Organizations will be responsible for following the "Sport & Playability Guidelines" as approved by City of Toronto Council.
