HOT Eats

A big part of celebrating creativity, community and culture is revelling in our delicious and diverse food. HOT Eats highlights restaurants, cafés and bakeries in Hotspot neighbourhoods through a gift certificate giveaway in August 2017 (in partnership with Metroland Media), social media campaign, inclusion in the Cultural Loops Guide and the below listing of HOT Eats!

2017 Restaurant Application Now Open:

Submit an application form to become a HOT Eats restaurant. Restaurants must meet the eligibility criteria listed below. Selected restaurants will be contacted by June 9, 2017.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Located in the 2017 Cultural Hotspot area (Eglinton Avenue to the north, Lake Ontario to the south, Bayview Avenue/the Don Valley to the west and Victoria Park Avenue to the east)
  • Possess a current Dine Safe Green Pass issued by Toronto Public Health
  • Provide a $25 or $50 gift certificate by June 9, 2017 to be awarded as a HOT Eats prize. The gift certificate must be valid until December 31, 2017. The gift certificate must not require the bearer to make additional purchases. If the average price of a meal, including a non-alcoholic drink, at your restaurant is more than $25, please provide a $50 gift certificate.
