Youth Week

1st Annual Youth Week Celebration & Events

The week of May 6th to the 13th will officially be recognized as Youth Week 2017. Parks, Forestry and Recreation is hosting a series of events throughout the week to celebrate youth involvement and participation across the City. Youth Week will provide opportunities to engage youth and have them showcase their talents and abilities in arts, sports and recreation, civic engagement in various communities across the city.

Join us for a free concert inside City Hall. Youth performers and artists will be hitting the stage for a series of four mini-concerts throughout the night. Performances include singers, rappers, dance groups, a fashion show and more.

STOMP is an annual showcase open to children and youth dance teams from across the city. Now in its 16th year, STOMP will host 38 competing teams and five showcase performances all celebrating Canada 150.
