Port Union Community Recreation Centre is a small but vibrant recreation centre offering a wide range of activities for all, from tots to older adults. The Recreation Centre boasts a well equipped fitness centre, library, skateboard park, gymnatorium/hall and an older adult lounge to accommodate everyone's needs. A wide range of programs are offered from fitness classes to bingo, as well many community events such as Winterfest and a summer concert series are provided for our local residents.

Cardio - AdultThese classes are suitable for all levels, focusing on providing a minimum of 20 minutes of cardiovascular exercises that use large muscle groups in a continuous and rhythmic manner. Most classes will also include a muscle conditioning component. Regular participation can help improve one's cardiovascular system (heart/lungs), flexibility, balance and co-ordination.
