West Rouge Community Centre has a long history in East Scarborough. The building was the clubhouse for a former golf course. Now being apart of the City of Toronto, the Community Centre is prime site for rental use of the Ballroom which is used for wedding receptions, preteen dances, special events and for recreation programming. West Rouge Community Centre has many preschool programs that run out of the Tots Room that gets many compliments from visitors throughout the year. Also, many community groups call the community centre home, such as West Rouge Sport and Recreation Association, West Rouge Community Association and the Dukes of Harmony to name a few.

Line Dance - Older AdultThese courses, designed for participants over the age of 60, offer instruction in a variety of line dance forms such as country, latin and sequence. Partners are not required for these programs.
Camp Adventure Child - All Day StandardThese Adventure Camps have all in the ingredients of an Activity Camp and more. Campers are introduced to a variety of enhanced activities through workshops, special events and excursions. These camps have a $10 consumable fee.
Camp Extended ChildThe Extended Care option provides supervised care before and/or after camp for children registered in City of Toronto, Parks, Forestry and Recreation camp sessions. Extended hours programs have a separate barcode for registration. Refer to the camp program charts for times, fees and locations.
Cardio - AdultThese classes are suitable for all levels, focusing on providing a minimum of 20 minutes of cardiovascular exercises that use large muscle groups in a continuous and rhythmic manner. Most classes will also include a muscle conditioning component. Regular participation can help improve one's cardiovascular system (heart/lungs), flexibility, balance and co-ordination. Small equipment may be used.
