Wellesley Community Centre

Wellesley Community Centre is a priority centre located at Sherbourne Street and Wellesley Street in the St. James Town community. We offer programming for preschoolers, children, youth, adults and older adults. We also offer various camps for children during the winter, March and summer breaks. As well as several sport leagues for children, youth and adults. We have a community advisory council that meets quarterly.

Camps

Camp Activity Child - All Day BasicThese Activity Camps are designed to give children, ages 6-12, a fun-filled, action-packed and safe camp experience. Campers will be involved in arts and crafts, games, sports, special events, outdoor activities and local trips. These camps have no consumable fee.

Fitness & Wellness

Cardio - AdultThese classes are suitable for all levels, focusing on providing a minimum of 20 minutes of cardiovascular exercises that use large muscle groups in a continuous and rhythmic manner. Most classes will also include a muscle conditioning component. Regular participation can help improve one's cardiovascular system (heart/lungs), flexibility, balance and co-ordination. Small equipment may be used.
