Warden Hilltop Community Centre

The new Warden Hilltop Community Centre is the first public building in Toronto to be LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver certified featuring a geothermal heating and cooling system, green roof and solar power. The centre includes a double gym, weight room, teaching kitchen and preschool area.

Cardio - AdultThese classes are suitable for all levels, focusing on providing a minimum of 20 minutes of cardiovascular exercises that use large muscle groups in a continuous and rhythmic manner. Most classes will also include a muscle conditioning component. Regular participation can help improve one's cardiovascular system (heart/lungs), flexibility, balance and co-ordination. Small equipment may be used.

Coach Training - Sports SpecificA workshop for individuals interested in coaching a specific sport such as athletics, basketball, soccer, swimming, wheelchair sports, to name a few in the community sport and/or instructional stream of the NCCP. In this workshop, coaches will learn how to instruct, observe, and correct skills. A combination of lecture and practice will be used. This program is run in partnership with the Coaches Association of Ontario and Provincial Sport Organizations.
